Project Description
Located in New Yuanming Palace, Hengdian Royal Ice & Snow World boasts a gross floor area of 26065m² and an Ice & Snow area of 15000m². Through the two functional areas of Snow Fun Area and Ice Carving Exhibition Area, an all-day Ice & Snow experience tourist destination integrating arts, technology and entertainment is created.
The Snow Fun Area is designed with an ice run with a fall of 4m and a length about 60m, Ice Bike, Ice Bumper Car, 360-degree Rotating Ice Yoyo, Ice Bowling, Ice Snooker. Visitors may embrace the charm and passion of these ice sports events and allow the kids to indulge in the fun of Ice & Snow world.
In the Ice Carving Exhibition Area a wide range of exhibits are displayed. Guided by innovative thinking and based on the Ice & Snow environment, exhibits are mainly models of modern high-tech military facilities. The Jiaolong manned submersible, J-15 heavy carrier-based fighter and 99G heavy main battle tank on a scale of 1:1, Shenzhou 5/6/9 manned spacecrafts, and China’s first aircraft carrier Liaoning now in service on a scale of 1:5 on display have adequately demonstrated China’s world-shaking military and scientific achievements in recent years.
Exhibitions of various cultures and arts, fun ice sports, top-notch sound and light combined effect, modern high-tech military models have created a fun and participatory Ice & Snow atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
